Adequate hydration is essential for your energy levels and effective fitness training. Even small amounts of dehydration can have significant detrimental effects on physical performance.
Tips on staying hydrated
- Carry a water bottle with you everywhere and keep it topped up.
- Sip water continuously throughout the day
- Don't judge your need for water by thirst (it's already too late!) drink whether you're thirsty or not.
- Drink more water when training, or in a hot, dry environment.
